POSITION: Architectural Technician
COMPANY: One of the country’s largest, premium house builders
CANDIDATE: To be considered for this position you must hold a HNC / HND in Construction, Architectural Technology or Building Studies. It is essential you have experience working within the House Building Sector and are proficient in AutoCAD
SALARY: Competitive salary of up to £50,000 plus excellent package (negotiable dependent on experience)

The person they appoint will have a hands on role of implementing construction drawings for each individual property. This will include the site development plans, general arrangements, specific details with mechanical and electrical layouts. You will also be required to submit drawing packages to sub-contractors and to ensure all information is correct in order for them to tender. You will also liaise with their in house team of Site/Project Managers and to review information provided by external consultants such as Structural Engineers and the like to ensure the specific design is brought through to completion.

This position would suit an enthusiastic technical professional within the house building / residential sector. You will be required to have a good understanding of all technical aspects as you will not only take planning drawings through to construction but also review and suggest amendments for drainage and road designs. A good knowledge and understanding of current building regulations is essential along with the ability to use packages such as AutoCAD.
