Job satisfaction with a Sales Consultant of the Year award

Leading housebuilder Redrow has presented its Sales Consultant of the Year award to Kirsty Baker, who has delivered the highest levels of customer care and recommendation at The Parsonage, a development of family homes in Marden, Kent.

Just a year into her role, Kirsty has now been rewarded for her attitude the job and hard work to provide a 100% record of customer satisfaction, as measured independently by the NHBC. Her award was presented by Redrow’s chairman, Steve Morgan, showing the importance of this kind of team award to the national housebuilding company.

Kirsty is delighted she has won the award, saying: “I felt really proud that my hard work had been recognised and highlighted within the company. I think customers respond well to my professionalism and approachability. Being both friendly and switched on are essential in this job as there are so many moving parts and lots of sales going on at the same time.”

“Buying a home is a big step for people and I think it is crucial to recognise that some customers may need more time before making a decision. I stay in regular contact with all my customers, checking in to see if they need any advice and ensuring they know that my door is always open.

“What is so fantastic about The Parsonage is that we can see the community growing around us, our customers still pop into the sales office to say hello. We have had quite a few babies born in the last year too and the parents always stop by to introduce them to us. That’s what I love about my job; you get to go along with people on their journey from their first visit to handing over their keys at completion.”

Kirsty continues to enjoy her job on site, with more customers anticipated soon at the popular and well-located development, where four-bedroom properties start from £519,995.
