Role: Senior/Associate Planner
Location: London (Mayfair)
Salary: £40,000-£60,000 per annum (depending on experience) + attractive benefits package
Penguin Recruitment is excited to be working with a very successful management consultancy in recruiting a Senior/Associate Planner to their diverse and excellent team of seven Planners. Our client provides development strategy advice across a range of varied and challenging projects.
Nearly all the firm's projects evolve from practical need, where quality and functionality are the prime driving forces. Much of their work also includes long-range spatial planning, in which legacy and operational excellence are key considerations. Services the firm provides include multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating planning documentation including environmental impact assessments, negotiating and concluding S106 agreements, planning appeals, conservation and listed building matters, and developing public and stakeholder consultation mechanisms.
You will be responsible for:
-Developing a range of applications.
-Attending site visits.
-Meeting with clients.
-Supporting junior planners.
-Developing the client base of the business.
-Supporting Directors as and when required.
-Lead on enforcement matters.
-Work on appeals as appropriate.
Duties will differ for the Associate to Senior Planner roles, but the standards expected by our client remain consistently high. The successful candidate as a result will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent communication and leadership skills. In addition, you should be chartered with the RTPI, holding a relevant qualification and planning experience in London. Business development / Networking skills are advantageous but not a necessity.
