Our small, family owned bespoke house builder client based in Reigate are expanding throughout Surrey, Sussex and Kent and are looking to strengthen their Technical department.
Established for 10 years, they currently have 5 live projects but have planning approved on 5 more with a focus on 3 product streams which their land team try to adhere to from a purchase perspective, which are varied and interesting:
- Larger out of town sites (circa 50 units plus)
- Town centre sites (usually apartment development)
- Premium sites (where location dictates a high spec and a higher selling point – we have recently sold 2 houses in Reigate for £2.95m and £2.8m)
With current turnover sitting at circa £20m/year but with genuine plans and structure to grow this substantially over the next few years with a strong land team and financial backing in place, they would like to appoint an Engineering biased Technical Manager.
The role is for a Technical Manager with a civils background. The role has two main focuses. Firstly identifying the engineering issues that effect a site at land viability stage (analysis and instruction of site investigations & service search information), and secondly civils and structural development of the sites we purchase (including appointment of consultants, dealing with Section agreements)
The role will be varied, and the successful candidate will be involved in every site that we strongly consider for purchase and those which we do in fact purchase.
If you are interested in working for a financially secure and established business producing bespoke projects and playing a key role in the business’s growth plan then please get in contact to discuss this unique opportunity further.
