My client is a leading South Yorkshire based housebuilder, delivering family housing across the region are looking to appoint an experienced Engineer into the role of Engineering Manager.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director you will be responsible for the day to day running of the engineering function, as well as retaining hands on responsibility for driving through schemes to delivery. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of engineering bias career development within the housebuilding sector.

Role & Responsibilities Include

  • Appointing and liaising with various Engineering consultants
  • Putting together Technical Engineering Reports for Land Appraisals
  • Coordinating their work throughout the pre-construction & construction phases of housing developments
  • Procuring technical approvals for all engineering details on site (inc. roads & sewers)
  • Obtaining S38, 104 & 278 approvals
  • Strategic input in on-site engineering solutions for housing developments

Role Requirements
You will have experience within a housing developer of dealing with all Civil Engineering aspects of a housing development including coordination of consultants, acquiring section agreements & coordination of roads & associated infrastructure.
