Worthy promotion for Rachel in sales role

Rachel Pepper has now become the first sales advisor within the region to be awarded the role of trainee sales manager by Bloor Homes, in recognition of the standard of work she has been doing across a number of the company’s Midlands sites.

She was praised for her “dedication, professionalism and outstanding levels of customer service” in her promotion from the job she took when she joined the housebuilder in 2014. Having worked at developments in Shefford, Adderbury, Winslow and Biggleswade, Rachel now oversees four developments across the region, which covers Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.

“New homes runs in my blood – both my grandfather and father worked in the industry so you could say that it was written in the stars,” says Rachel. “I started straight from university, almost 10 years ago and have never looked back. I have always been focused on doing the best job I possibly can with the aim of working my way up. I am delighted that my efforts have been rewarded and I’m thoroughly enjoying putting my knowledge and experience to good use across a broader portfolio of developments.”

Rachel’s deserved promotion comes as, having launched six new developments over the past six months and with plans to open a further three more in 2018, Bloor Homes looks to bring a new face on board as a sales manager.

Richard Sarraff, managing director for Bloor Homes South Midlands, says: “On behalf of the whole team at Bloor Homes I would like to congratulate Rachel on her success. She is a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work and a commitment to deliver an excellent service day in, day out. This is a very exciting time for our region and we would encourage anyone who is ready to take the next step in their career to get in touch to find out how they can be a part of it.”
