The German manufactured HSK shower is minimalist in design and has eight milimetre-thick glass side panels and doors. The toughened safety glass aims to be easy to install and comes as standard with the Atelier Range, plus a height of 2000mm offers maximum room and spray protection. The square rising butt hinges, an invisible technique that raises and lowers the door when opening and closing, ensured the door is lifted of the floor or tray avoiding unnecessary scuffing of the seals.
There is 20 milimetres of adjustment per profile. The square hinges and handles come in a crome finish, and the showers come with a life-time guarantee.

High gloss Parapan, better known for its use in kitchens, is now being used for a variety of creative applications in other rooms in the house.
Bespoke furniture designer Rupert Kingston of Couture Furniturs, says, 'Parapan is the ultimate material to use for a high gloss look. Prior to Parapan a very lengthy process of lacquering and polishing was required. The solid, durable qualities of Parapan mean you get an absolutely perfect and consistent finish every time, with minimum effort.
Parapan is available in various colours from pastels to brights. It is UV stable so will not fade and the colour runs all the way through, making it ideal for doors that may be left open. It is cut from solid sheets so doors for kitchens, bedrooms and furniture can be cut to any size and thermoformed into curves for rounded cupboards. Impervious to water Parapan claims not to warp or rot, and as it is solid it does not chip or delaminate.

Kleanfeat overshoes are elasticated to fit all sizes. They aim to be light, durable, non-staining and can be worn with or without shoes. They are especially texturised to provide grip and prevent slipping even on polished surfaces such as parquet flooring
The Kleanfeat a patented fully automatic overshoe loader in an aluminium case. You place your foot into the loader and two clicks later you have a high denier disposable overshoe on.
The high denier material ensures that they will take a good deal of wear, and the non-slip finish provides strong grip even on wet surfaces.

Adding renewable technology, like solar heating, to a new housing project gives credits towards the Sustainable Homes targets. With its new Vitodens 343-F, Viessmann has produced the first hybrid heating package fully integrating solar and a high efficiency condensing boiler; ideal for new and well insulated retrofitted homes.
Housed in a kitchen styled compact package with a 677 X 600 mm footprint, the 343-F includes a 250 litre storage cylinder with connections made for both solar and boiler inputs. Also fitted is the solar control package, a Solar Divicon and Vitosolic 100 control. The condensing boiler with its stainless steel heat exchanger, a clean and quiet MatriX burner and Lambda Pro controls has an efficiency of 98 per cent and provides 16kW booster output to water or 13kW to heating. The 343-F has an Energy Management System that ensures clean, safe combustion whatever the type of gas the boiler is fed. Additionally it gives 4:1 modulation and is weather compensation ready. The boiler control and solar controls are matched so that hot water generation from solar is maximised with the boiler being suppressed whilst there is solar energy available.
In common with all Vitodens boilers the 343-F has a standard three year parts and labour warranty that can be extended to five years if the installer has attended a Viessmann training course. The stainless steel heat exchanger has a ten year warranty.

The Venus kitchen range by Pininfarina, from Snaidero, meets a growing need for new "sensational" materials, such as the new microtouch finish, a leather-effect micro fibre, applied to the aluminium honeycomb panel doors. This very fine micro fibre treated with a tanning process in water guarantees an appearance and texture similar to leather and is extremely resistant and easy to clean.
Another appealing element is the mirror-like or parallel trend of the worktop curves and shelf. The gently contoured, symmetrical work surfaces not only have design value, but are ergonomic and functional, raised to fit a drawer at the edges and they double up as a convenient worktop too.
The innovative lighting solution, a Snaidero feature, consists of LED spotlights fitted in a streamlined aluminium shelf, designed in association with CRP, a department of Fiat's research centre, with tan energy saving of 83 per cent compared to halogen bulbs.
