Jeffrey, 44, has worked for the last 11 years for Bellway Homes in a variety of roles including land director and latterly managing director, and has 22 years' experience in housebuilding.
Jeffrey's role will involve implementing new business plans and developing the company. He said of the appointment: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with such a forward-thinking and innovative company as Persimmon.

"I am looking forward to tackling the many challenges ahead of me and I hope that in my new role I can contribute to Persimmon's continuing success across Essex."



Linden Homes Thames Valley has made a number of appointments and promotions in recent months to its expanding land team.
Brett Jacobs has been promoted to associate land director from land manager. Jacobs previously worked for both Michael Shanly Homes and Banner Homes.

Andrew Aldridge has also been named as associate land director. Prior to the appointment, Aldridge worked for Linden's Chiltern region and at Antler Homes.

Dale Nisbet has moved to his post as land manager Linden Homes Thames Valley from Hicks Development where he was sole land buyer. He also gained valuable experience as part of the land team at McCarthy and Stone.

Finally, Christopher Knight has joined Linden as land buyer after ten years working in PR and marketing for the property industry and having recently completed a RICS accredited MSc in Real Estate at Kingston University.



Simon Lowe has joined Chase Homes as technical coordinator, to work across all Chase sites in the east and west Midlands, the south-west and Wiltshire.
Lowe has come to the company from Glenn Howells architects, where he worked as senior technician for two and a half years, and he has a total of 12 years' experience in the sector.

Technical manager Paul Owen said of the appointment: "Chase Homes' quality cannot be compromised at any costs, so getting the right people with an exceptional ability for attention detail is vital. We are therefore delighted to have Simon on board, whose depth of experience and attitude fits perfectly with the Chase Homes offering.



Yorkshire builder Apple Homes has announced the appointment of Kate Skinner as quantity surveyor.
Skinner has experience both a buyer and a quantity surveyor and has worked for a number of regional housebuilders. Her role will cover managing and monitoring costs, procuring subcontractors, buying materials, producing development budgets and assessing potential land acquisitions.

Skinner said of her appointment: "I'm excited to join Apple Homes and become involved in all aspects of the company's activities, from land acquisition to property specification." She added: "I'm also looking forward to the forthcoming launch of our latest development in East Bierley, near Bradford, which is the first project that I have been involved with from the start."



Banner Homes Midlands has made three key appointments to its land team as part of the company's planned expansion.
Valerie Hulme has joined Banner from Redrow as planning manager. Hulme will manage the submission and approval of planning applications and liaise with planning authorities.

James O'Shea and Mark Alexander have both joined as land managers - O'Shea from Applestone Homes and Alexander from Laing Homes.

Managing director of Banner Homes Midlands Mark Booth said of the appointments and the company's plans: "I am delighted to welcome Valerie, James and Mark to the company. With their combined experience and enthusiasm, we have a very strong team in place to continue forward with our expansion plans and meet the need for high quality housing in the area."


Following the creation of its Severn Valley region, Persimmon Homes has appointed Carl Haley as managing director.
Haley has ten years' experience in the industry and joins Persimmon from David McLean Homes where he was managing director for four years. He said of his new role: "I am thrilled to have joined Persimmon Homes and to have been given the unique challenge and opportunity to establish a new regional company for the business. Having lived and worked in the south-west for over 15 years, I know the marketplace extremely well and believe the Severn Valley region offers huge potential for us to continue to develop the success of our existing sites, while also seeking opportunities to expand the Persimmon brand into new areas."

Persimmon Severn Valley covers the Forest of Dean, south Gloucestershire, Bristol and north Somerset. It currently had 19 employees and aims to have 23 by the end of the year.


Inspace Homes has added to its land buying team with the appointment of John Campbell as senior land manager.
Campbell has joined Inspace from Unicoin Homes and has over 30 years' experience. Working together with recently appointed senior land manager Ken Barnett, Campbell will focus on sourcing brownfield development opportunities in London and the south-east.

Campbell commented: "Inspace Homes' commitment to offering affordable homes to ordinary people was something I'd admired. After meeting managing director Fraser Wells, I was certain that Inspace Homes was the ideal next step for me. I am looking forward to sourcing new opportunities for Inspace Homes.
Fraser Wells said of the appointment: "We are thrilled to strengthen our land buying team with John Campbell. John brings with him an impeccable knowledge of the residential property market and an understanding of the importance of affordability. I am sure that both John and Ken will source many excellent land opportunities for Inspace Homes."



Mary Globecki has joined Mansfield-based Rippon Homes as sales negotiator on its School Mews development in Farnsfield, north Nottinghamshire.
Globecki worked as site negotiator for four years at Henry Boot Homes, and also worked at David Wilson Homes and Clarke Homes.

Globecki said of her new role: "Rippon Homes is a very well respected local company with an excellent reputation. I was very pleased when the opportunity arose to join them and represent the company at the School Mews development, with its lovely village location."



Persimmon Homes East Midlands have appointed a new sales director.
Steve Matthews, has joined the company from Stamford Homes, where he held the position of associate sales director. Matthews has over eight years' experience in the housebuilding industry but actually began his working life in the RAF. Matthews will be responsible for progressing sales at each site and ensuring that developments are properly prepared before opening.

Matthews said: "I am already really enjoying my new role. My primary aim is to boost Persimmon's presence throughout the East Midlands region while at the same time helping build on our recent successes. I look forward to putting my knowledge of the area and my skills to good use in what promises to be my most exciting and challenging role to date."

Managing director Adrian Evans added: "As a region we are launching a number of exciting projects this year and Steve is a welcome addition to our team. His experience within the industry will prove to be invaluable to our sales strategy and I am looking forward to what the forthcoming months will bring."



Coventry-based Benfield Homes has appointed Sarah Laythorpe as land and planning manager.
Having worked for Warwick District Council for four years, the move to Benfield Homes is Laythorpe's first foray into the private sector.

Laythorpe commented: "I've experienced life on the other side of the fence, so hopefully that has given me a good insight on how to get new developments through planning.

"My role here will entail looking at potential sites and deciding how viable they are for a new housing scheme, so my experience should come in very useful."

She added: "It's an exciting opportunity. There are several opportunities that we are already looking at across the Midlands."



Yorkshire housebuilder Moorfield Developments has announced the appointment of Peter Colebrook as managing director.

Having held similar positions at both Bryant Homes and Miller Homes, Colebrook is bringing valuable experience to the role, and is being charged with the responsibility of delivering the company's strategy of significant expansion as a regional housebuilder.

Colebrook, 43, has joined from Portford Homes, where he was development director for two years.
